The best of the worst!

Celebrate our brilliantly awful acts!

It may be a bit of a dubious honour, but each year The X Factor throws up acts which are hugely memorable - for all the wrong reasons.

And as the audition phase closes and the competition becomes serious, it's time to say goodbye to our wackiest acts.

Just a handful of our alternatively entertaining auditionees are heading to bootcamp - there's Shirley Haugh (Louis' biggest fan), jazz hands Cyril, and the naughty nana Betty Bryce to name a few.

But for others, the journey is done. From angry Ariel to Mums on the Run, we had the grumpy ones. There was made-over Ceri and earnest Ashiq - the oh-so-serious ones. And there were Ant and Seb, the bendy-legged Rochelle, and the wide mouthed Holly Jervis. They were definitely the jaw-dropping ones!

Yes, their singing may have been truly dreadful, but these guys were in an entertainment class of their own. So we want to know which of our brilliantly awful audition acts will become the stuff of X Factor legend. And, of course, we need your help!

Why not have a browse around the site to re-live videos from our most unlikely stars, and then tell us who had you most in stitches?
