Dannii was scared she'd miss a star...
Dannii Minogue found the bootcamp deliberations scary because she didn't want to send a future superstar home - by mistake!
Dannii, who mentored last year's winner Leon Jackson, said;"The deliberation process takes a long time and we take it very seriously. It's vital to know that decisions you make are right.
The Antipodean judge had strong cause for concern as she agonised over which acts should go through. She said, "Leona's made number one all over the world. But if you ask the other judges, they will say that at this stage in the competition, they didn't really notice her".
"A few contenders stood out for us at the moment, but that the beauty of The X Factor. You never know. The ones who are the strongest now many not turn out to be the overall winners".
And on the day the big decision was given, Dannii was also concerned for the contestants she had to send home.
She said, "This year is so strong, the hardest thing is to say goodbye to people who are really, really, talented singers. I can't imagine the devastation.
"I don't think they would have slept last night, and then there was the wait. I feel so sorry for the disappointed ones".
"There are a lot of dreams and emotions wrapped up in our decisions. It is always hard to send people home".
