Hylton reaches new heights!
It was clear to see that Rachel Hylton was delighted to get through to the Judges' Houses stage of the competition.
But as she packed up and got ready leave bootcamp, the 26 year-old mum had something else on her mind - getting home to see her children!
Although she kept in touch by telephone she couldn't wait to deliver her good news in person, telling us, "My family have been screaming down the phone. They're so happy and proud".
"And now I can't wait to go home to see them. I've been away from them for a week!"
Rachel, who has five kids, looks after the youngest two at home after turning over a new leaf leaving behind a lifestyle involving drugs.
She told us, "People will know I've had my problems with drugs. I've had issues with my children. But I am a Christian, and God is real. He took me off the floor and he put me here today. And some people might say shut up, but that is what I believe. This will turn my life around."
Even so, Rachel knows there will still be plenty of hard work involved!
"It's Judges' Houses next. I'm gonna go home, see my kids, rest up my throat, learn my song, and I'm ready!
"I'm not going to be cocky but I want to win.
"So the record company people out there - I'm talking Sony BMG. If you think I've got the talent - snap me up!"
