Leon returns!

Jackson's back...

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, The X Factor live shows return to our TV screens tonight.

Dermot is back, the judges are back, and even the gut-churning intro music is back. Returning, too, is The X Factor 2007 champion: the fabulous Mr Leon Jackson.

Leon stood up on the studio stage for the first time just one year ago. He was nervous, he was shaking, and he wasn't really used to dancing. But week after week he returned on the strength of the public vote. Now, Leon is a chart-topping artist and as our 12 for 2008 discovered in rehearsals, he's still funny, friendly, cheeky and charming. As they realised when they watched him sing on what is now their stage, he has set the standard for all to beat.

Don't miss the exclusive live performance of Leon's new single on tonight's results show.

Don't Call This Love will be released on Monday October 13, but if you would like to pre-order your copy, just click the link here.

I still cant believe Leon won last year, he was incredibly uncomfortable to watch on Saturday night, his hands were shaking and he just didnt look like he should be there.

Leon! Leon! Leon! I was not your biggest fan last year... and was upset that you know who didn't win. BUT... I thought you looked and sounded amazing... I will defo buy your album. I heard he single on the radio a week or two ago, and thought to myself ' oh, I like Michaels' new song!'.... thats a compliment by the way!

Leon winning last year's show was sublime. He is special. He was clearly nervous last night as he is such a humble lad who had no years of theatre training or prom cd's like well trained leona. Cant wait to buy Leon's work. He is so cute and sings from his heart and soul. All the best Leonxxxxx

Leon was amazing last night...he won because he has a great voice and we could see his potential...it's so boring to keep comparing him to Rhydian or Leona as they're all so different. I love the single, downloaded it last night and will be buying the album cos thats the type of music I LIKE and THATS WHY I VOTED FOR HIM. He's a great guy with a great voice. Give him a break.

Defo agree with the majority there, he seemed more nervous than the 12 who performed for the first ever time last night! What were ppl thinking last yr? defo going to be a hard competition this yr so many fantastic singers!

An ordinary little boy in the street with a fair voice and no Xfactor whatsoever.
