Layla has X Factor history!

X Factor finally opens doors for girlband's Layla

When Girlband singer Layla Manoochehri stepped onto the stage on The X Factor yesterday, it was a dream come true for the part-time model.

Layla, pictured in the blue frock, has made the journey to the X Factor studios in Wembley before - but she was never allowed inside the building.

Instead, she worked for the promotions company which distributed tickets to The X Factor's audience.

She told us, "I'd stand outside the studio gates on a Saturday for hours on end".

"I had to count how many people there were coming into the studio. It was a terrible job - and it was usually freezing."

"I'd be out there in the rain, watching people come and go, and feel all the excitement. I imagined what it would be like to be up on the stage - even inside the building."

"Now we've made it to The X Factor live shows, I finally get a chance to see what it's like in here!"

Guys, I am just wondering is the show going a little of track with the sob stories? when the show 1st come out is was about the singing tallent not about peoples past history or fashion sense. I am planning on entering myself next year (2009) but i am concerned that because i have had a pretty normal life where nothing awful has happened, if i will be turned down even if i have potentially what it takes to go far in the competition. Regards Chris
