Hey all

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! We are devastated that Scott has left the competition. He was in the horrible position of opening the show and in this slot you have to give a really memorable performance or the viewers will forget to vote. Daniel’s saving performance was so moving that anyone who was up against him would’ve gone home!! We are still sure that Scott will have a brilliant career ahead of him.

Daniel’s version of To Where You Are had all of our family in tears (including our “tough” dad)!

Anyway…! Big Band week. This is always a special week that the contestants really enjoy. There is nothing like being accompanied by the AMAZING musicians.

The judges gave lots of really positive feedback to the contestants because they all upped their game and gave great performances.

Our pick of the week goes to Alexandra, again! Her performance was very different, full of glamour, energy and fun. Her talent is endless - is there anything she can’t do? And Alexandra, you are an individual, a very special one.

Eoghan’s performance made us smile, his Irish charm was oozing out of him and he looked full of confidence, he looked like a baby lion with that ‘mane’ on his head. And I (Sarah) felt like giving his head a little stroke!

For once we agreed with Louis, we were so pleased that Ruth sang her song in English… She looked stunning; she was very confident and was really funny when she told Simon not to forget her name…. Classic!

Austin sang his dad’s favourite song well; he looked really comfortable and self-assured as always.

JLS were very stylish and their look was fitting to the song. (We thought it was cool!) They appeared to be really enjoying themselves and we loved Brian’s choreography.

We were unsure what to expect from Diana this week, it’s difficult to imagine her doing Big Band, but she was given the perfect song and she gave the performance her own “Diana style twist”. Well done Diana.

Couldn’t finish without giving a mention to Rachel, Was that Rachel? Loved the makeover!! It was very fitting to the song, and Simon clearly loved her this week. Her personality is really growing on us as the weeks go on.

The whole cast singing Hero was very moving (as was the VT); we hope that everyone goes out to buy a copy because it is a really good cause.

We can’t wait for Disco Week…!  If we had to choose a song it would be ABC by the Jackson 5 with fireworks and blackboards...

All our love,

Sean and Sarah

Hello you two lol :) Alex has a good voice but I disliked her performance. I thought Austin (& Rachel) were the best of the night. Austin is such a natural charismatic performer & incredible vocalist (technically the best IMO), he doesn't need to feel so nervous every week. It is really V endearing though <3 Mack The Knife was incredible! Excellent swing! He's so soulful, a solid lyricist & multi-musician, funny, stunning, cheeky, adorable, stupidly sexy, has fantastic rhythm, I could on!

Same Difference are the nicest people ever! i met them last night at a halloween concert they were doing in Newry! They were so nice and very approachable. I got a load of pics with them and I was nearly in tears meeting them cause they're one of my favourite bands! Love you Sean and Sarah! x0x0x0x I thought that Scott was brilliant and he shouldn't have been put out! Love JLS, Diana and Alexandra! Eoghan is from Ireland though, so we have to vote for him too! :D x0x
