Cheryl 'bumped off' by finalists?

Girls Aloud are No. 1 in the charts. But our finalists are set to oust 'em!
It's less than two weeks since Cheryl Cole and her Girls Aloud chums gave a triumphant performance of their new single The Promise in front of the X Factor crowd. It stormed to No.1 selling an impressive 77,000 copies.
Now Cheryl's shown them how it's done, the X Factor contestants look likely to follow in their mentor's footsteps, smashing her sales figures in the path to UK. No. 1.
The X Factor finalists' version of the Mariah Carey song Hero has sold an amazing 100,000 copies in just 24 hours after it received its premiere on the show on Saturday night.
Simon has said, "Nothing this year has even come close. People really understand what this record is about and want to help. It's fantastic!"
He continued, "Our only issue is running out of CDs. But everyone is working overtime to get enough copies pressed".
Of course, this does mean that Cheryl could be about to knocked off the top spot by her the finalists, including her mentees Alexandra, Laura and Di!
Cheryl and all of her fellow judges gave the X Factor contestants a standing ovation when they performed the song on Saturday's show - we're sure there's no-one she'd rather be 'bumped off' by!
