That’s the way, ah-ha, ah-ha, I like it. Ah-ha, ah-ha…!

Helloooooooo...

D.I.S.C.O.…   ...D.I.S.C.O!!!

What a show! Things are really hotting up, and although some of the acts were out of their comfort zone on disco night, we thought there were some amazing performances.

Rachel - Lost In Music? More like found in music!!!  We knew she was not comfortable tonight, but she worked really hard and worked really well with all of her amazing dancers. Again, this is the most forgettable spot to be in and probably why Rachel was in the bottom two.

We were surprised to see Diana appear so fragile in her VT, yet look so confident in her performance. Hers was an excellent song choice and she really looked the part, but we would have liked to see her moving about rather than sitting for most of the song though. I (Sean) absolutely love her but I can't put a finger on why!

Daniel, again, showed us limited movement, but we did think he looked like he was having fun. Obviously the judges didn’t feel this because their comments (apart from Dannii’s) were not nice! We wondered if maybe his dancers were a little bit young for him, making him feel uncomfy. And we are sure there are some mature women out there that would have loved to dance with him!! We reckon Dannii is doing a great job with her song choices for him and her other acts. And all of this pressure clearly gave Daniel a stressful week so BACK OFF JUDGES!!!!!

Laura gave a good performance, especially as this song is not as well known as some of the others. We thought she looked really pretty this week... so what was Simon saying?! Cheryl is so funny when she starts getting angry when people are harsh to her acts… we wouldn’t want to be on her bad side!

Eoghan looked so comfy this week, especially as it was his first time working with dancers! It was a perfect modern song for him and we agreed with the judges when they linked it to High School Musical! We visited Northern Ireland this week to do a show and they absolutely love him over there!!! He has a huge fan base and we know that he will be in the competition for weeks to come!! His 'love interest' dancer was a perfect match for him... and again, we are sure there are loads of girls who would have loved to be in her shoes!

Let's move onto Ruth, who really gave her performance attitude tonight. Lady, enough was not enough… we want more! Bring it on, because you were fabulous tonight. It really showed that having your family in the audience can really boost your confidence.

Alexandra looked stunning - or 'soo hot' as Sean says! -  and gave a flawless performance. We would agree with Dannii that Alex would be magnificent to watch on tour. I (Sarah) have to give a mention to her amazing topless dancers (wit woo)! She enjoyed, we enjoyed... and the public obviously enjoyed, because they voted for her.

Nearly done now, and our prize for performance of the night has to go to JLS. They looked really cool and they have a recognisable image now. They were in their comfort zone with disco week, and it was a brave choice to let one person in the group take the lead. Hey guys - it definitely paid off!! JLS are getting stronger and stronger in the competition and (although we are not backing Louis!) we are very much backing JLS.

We had to leave Austin 'til last because words can’t describe how we feel. We  loved him and he definitely did not deserve to go. In fact, neither of the bottom two deserved to be there at all. His version of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow was absolutely incredible and he went out with his head held high. We know that this is not the end of Austin and he will definitely have a long career. We have never seen someone so determined and we really are so sad he has gone.

So that's disco week done - and next Saturday will bring Mariah Carey week. It's a challenge, because we think that it may be a struggle for some of the acts because some of her tracks are very stylised. But if we were in it, we'd know our song choice. We'd want to sing When you Believe because we didn’t get to sing our version last year!

Mid-week and we are fast approaching Live Show 5. We have so far lost Bad Lashes, Girlband, Scott Bruton and most recently Austin Drage. Who do we think will survive this saturday's show, and any Mariah Carey classic's you'd love to hear? X

Hello Same Difference! just to say you are by far the best ever X Factor contestants ever in my opinion and honestly believe that you should have won it last year! I was gutted that Austin was voted off the show as I thought he was a fantastic and powerful singer! Goodluck for everything you do in the future! (Idon't think that JLS are the best ever band in the X Factor you are!)

Will tune in next week to hear the Carey Songs I love Rachel and Ruth for the final but in truth they ALL deserve to win. I got through to Austin's line as well as Rachel and Ruth's APH

austin for the win03/11/2008 18:17:28

Hello Same Difference. I thought you were great last year and i love you :) hope everythings going well! I was devastated on saturday after austin left. He was by far my favourite this year. What expectations did you have for him? Do you think there was a problem with the phone lines? Or are they just rumours because i know the same thing happened last year, or was said too have happened. Please get back to me. Thankyou x

Are you not concerned with what happened at last Saturdays premature departure for Austin - lots of people have put comments on various websites complaining that they could not vote for Austin for one hour on Saturday night. Instead of being told that they have voted for Austin it said that Diana will be voted for - on that line meant for Austin. This needs investigating in order to make it a fair show - i the lines did not allow people to rightfully vote then how can it be fair judgment...
