Hero is still No. 1!

Hurrah! The X Factor finalists' single Hero remains at the top of the singles' chart for a second week!

The song received a special boost, as its writer, Mariah Carey, added her seal of approval by singing Hero on stage with the finalists on Saturday's show.

This second week of success comes as we commemorate the fallen soldiers of world wars and current conflicts in the annual Royal British Legion Remembrance Day parade.

The Queen, Gordon Brown and world leaders were among those wearing their poppies with pride at this morning's parades.

This week saw the ITV1 world premiere showing of the single's brand new video.

I agree with just simply me its just Laura no one cares . they would take Laura back into the x factor just because people have signed petitions its not right Anyway im happy theyre single is number 1 Alexandra To win !!!!

who cares if x factor loses pple cause of laura there are gonna of course be diana alex ruth daniel jls raychel fans 2 vote nd all of the pple sayin this know they are goin 2 end up watchin it i luved the hero song alexandra owned it she took it 2 another level love her and owen at the start austin brilliant laura average the bands they were qutie good maybe because they were lip syncing and laura was doin dat 4 ruth's bit lip syncing dats y she sounded very gd at sum parts

I AM JUST SO SO SPEECHLESS THAT AUSTIN IS OUT OF THE SHOW AND MORE SO OVER ONE WITH A BAD ATTITUDE THIS SHOW OF X FACTOR ISNT ABOUT FINDING THAT POP STAR CAUSE IF IT WAS THEN AUSTIN&SCOT WOULD STILL BE THERE THIS WHOLE SHOW HAS BEEN VOTED ON SYMPATHY VOTES AND POSSIBILY PHONE LINES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY AND THE NATION CAN SEE THAT, I WILL NEVER WATCH ANOTHER SHOW,I WENT ON A 4DAY BREAK AFTER AUSTIN BEING KNOCK OUT AND IT WAS THE WORSE ID HAD,AUSTIN WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THAT FINAL 2 ONLY TO A WIN X
