All of the action and all of the acts - rated by Sean and Sarah!
Hey Guys!
Mariah Carey is such a legend. We have been soooooo excited about this week's show! We couldn’t wait to see it; we were in Birmingham on Saturday afternoon and our car nearly grew wings to get us home so we wouldn’t miss any of the show.
And what a show it was! Opening with… Mariah Carey. She puts the SUPER in SUPERSTAR! We couldn’t imagine having to follow her on the stage, so massive credit has to go to….
Eoghan - Performance of the night. His presentation was outstanding and Simon chose the perfect song for him… go Eoghan! He looked confident throughout and we loved his new hair! We’re sure Louis would love to have hair like his, Lol!
Diana – We were so sorry to hear that she was unwell. Laryngitis is a singer’s worst nightmare and we hope that she will be fine for next week. We really missed her. Get well soon, Diana. Xx
Daniel - We were really curious; what song would Daniel be performing this week? It’s very hard for a male to perform a female song (let alone a Mariah Carey song), but we thought Daniel gave one of the best vocal performances of the night. He always feels every word that he sings, and what is great about Daniel is how positive he has remained throughout. He absolutely deserved to stay in, well done.
Alexandra – We are huuuge fans! Alexandra sang the biggest song by a mile and it was immense. This week showed that Alexandra is a massive “all rounder,” she has such a lovely personality and is not afraid to show her emotions. We feel that she will be amazing to watch on the live tour and we will be first in the queue...
JLS – It pains us to say it but… Louis picked them a great song. They have developed an instantly recognizable style and they sang really well. They seem to be great guys and we had no doubt that they would be through this week. They have every chance of being the first band to EVER win the X Factor.
Rachel – Where was Rachel? We want our Rachel back…. What happened to the confident, bubbly, fun and strong Rachel that we have seen in previous weeks? She seemed distant and troubled; we couldn’t help feeling so sorry for her. Negative things are written in the tabloid papers about people every day, most of the British public are intelligent enough to know that a lot of it can be untrue or exaggerated. Her performance was good enough to put her through but next week we want the REAL Rachel back!
Ruth – Her version of Knocking on Heaven's Door was probably the BEST Performance of the whole series from any artist. It’s AMAZING how when she is in the bottom 2 she pulls out all the stops… She certainly knows the songs that she sings best! Everything about her saving performance was so powerful and the vocals were flawless. Congratulations on remaining in the competition, with that performance she definitely deserved to.
Laura – We had Laura down as a front runner in the competition, it just shows how things change each week and that no one is 100% safe. She deserves every success and we are sure that this is not the end of the road for her.
Cheryl has also been feeling unwell this week and it was noticeable, she was clearly not herself, get well soon Cheryl!! We were sorry to see that she lost an act this week and we have to say well done to Dannii for being the only judge with all three acts left. Ooh... and congratulations to all of the finalists on their huge smash hit… We hope Hero stays at No. 1 for a long time.
