Ms Lorenzo is in it to win it, same as the rest...
When she saw a magazine headline which screamed "Ruth - I don't want to win," Ruth Lorenzo let out a bit of a squeal herself.
Ruth, who has stayed in the competition thanks to her amazing survival songs, is going all-out to compete in the final weeks.
She told us, "I picked both of my songs this week and with two tracks to choose now, I'm ready to rock out, and do what I do best".
And in case anyone is still in any doubt, she said, "I want to win this competition so bad"!
The singer reckons two perfectly suited songs will be her secret weapons - as well as looking and feeling great when she steps into the spotlight.
She told us, "When I go on stage I want to feel as good as I can possibly feel. I want my skin to be smooth and soft, my eyebrows just right. They do my hair and my make up and I feel a million dollars. Then I put on a wonderful dress and before I go on stage I brush my teeth, and spray myself all over with perfume.
"And it all helps me feel great when I walk out on stage".
Ruth's generous support for Alexandra has been misinterpreted in some quarters as a desire to throw in the towel herself - but that couldn't be further from the truth.
With just three weeks of the competition to go, Ruth wants the people who vote for her week after week to know how much she appreciates their calls and effort.
She laughed, "I love Alexandra - but of course, she knows I want to win too".
"I am Alex's best friend -.but I'm a not stupid girl"!
