USA style gets a Brit makeover!

We can't decide whether we're more excited about Britney Spears' fantastic performance or the finalists' amazing makeovers!

Whatever way you look at it, the live show was sensational. This week we reveal how you can recreate the finalists' looks, follow Alexandra and JLS' transformations, plus get a make-up masterclass on how to copy Diana's pretty pink lipstick.

And as usual we catch up with stylist Faye to find out what inspired each outfit. Plus you can send in your questions for The X Factor fashion and beauty team.

im sorry but people are way to harsh on Britney, i think she was brilliant, considering she mimed, but so what, she made a great come back and looked so much happier than previous performances, i enjoyed it, well done Brit :)

I've got to say i was pretty disappointed in Britney's 'performance'. After a build-up like that it was all a bit embarrassing. What sort of example does that set to the contestants or any kids watching. Her attempts at lip synching that song were laughable. The judges were going on all night about how it wasn't a dance competition, it was a singing competition and then that. Proof? Yes, the fact that words were coming out of her when her mouth was shut. Saying thankyou to Dermot and no words!

i don't even care that britney mimed; the purpose of her performance was to promote her single and album and jeez did she do that. did you see her dancing around?! it was like same difference the other week; there is no way that someone can have an intense dance routine like that & be able to keep up her vocals. don't revert back to alex or anything like that because shes never had something that hard to do.

"Britney Spears' fantastic performance" ! Were we watching the same show? Worst attempt at miming I've ever seen. For the money she was paid we she should have actually sung on the show, or maybe she didn't want everyone to see and hear that the contestants were much better than she could ever be without the electrical wizzardry in the recording studio.

What a disappointment! I thought Britney was great when she first set out as a fresh-faced teenager, but her mimed performance last night and her outrageous demands while she's over in England have changed my opinion of her completely. Even Mariah Carey, who is a far bigger and more successful artist than Britney ever will be, took time out to spend with the contestants and sang live on the show the other week - what a delight she was. Sorry Britney, but "BYE!"

it was kinda like a slap in the face for the X Factor contestants, they sang live and do a pretty good job each week, and then britney comes along and MIMES!!! But I rate her 4 getting up there and doing the show.
