Northern Ireland unites for homeboy Eoghan
Friends, family, and people he's never even met before - all of Northern Ireland is getting behind X Factor finalist Eoghan Quigg.
Many of Eoghan's close family members - including his mum, dad and two brothers - will travel to London's Fountain Studios tomorrow to see their sixteen year old favourite take part in the final.
But baby sis Chrissie-Mia must stay at home with Auntie Carol - and the crowds of well-wishers who will pack into specially prepared party areas with big screens in Dungiven and Londonderry.
Eoghan is delighted by the amount of support he's been given by everyone at home. He told everyone at his homecoming, "I want to win it for you all, I want to win it for Ireland".
In fact, Eoghan has received support from many of Northern Ireland's most famous faces, including Eamon Holmes, who said "No matter what happens, win or lose, he will have a bright future ahead of him".
He also pondered, "He's also set a trend with that Quiggy hairdo. Personally I think he could do with a cut!"
The One Show's Christine Bleakley revealed she had spoken to Eoghan to wish him well. She said, "I’m backing him all the way. I am absolutely convinced he will win.”
And Ulster-born celebrity chef Paul Rankin had a message for Eoghan. He said, "We’ll all be glued to the TV on Saturday night, so good luck, all of our fingers will be crossed for you".
