Crazy In Love - with Beyoncé?
Each of our final three acts got to sing with an internationally famous musical star in the final.
But it was the soon-to-be winner Alexandra Burke who sang with the person she's considered her hero for years.
In fact Alexandra has been determined to sing with superstar diva Beyoncé since childhood... and credits a previous meeting with the singer for steeling her own resolve to become a musical star.
Says Alex; "I entered a radio competition to meet Beyoncé earlier this year. The competition was to see who could sing most like Beyoncé - and I sang Crazy In Love.
"I won the chance to meet her quickly backstage after her Wembley show."
Alex had her confidence boosted by the competition win and found inspiration watching Beyoncé's show.
It had a huge effect on Alexandra. She explained, "That's the day - my sister will tell you - I was in pieces".
"That was the turning point for me. It is where I became determined to trust in myself and trust in my dream".
She beamed, "The first week I came onto The X Factor, I sat in a chair backstage while Adam [make-up maestro] worked on my make-up".
"And I told him, I want to sing with her. One day I will do it"
"And now we're in the final, and we're singing today".
