You're quite right, Truthspoken, Diana has a unique vocal quality, but she is so obsessed with producing that very gimmicky singing style that she does not annunciate all the words clearly. The lyrics are the most important aspect of every performance. With Ruth there are no gimmicks and you can hear her words even with all that production going on behind her. When Diana is going to have to do rock-n-roll, will we be able to hear her behind a bus ticket?

Ruth, most sexy and well delivered performance of the show so far a true diva. I think that you voice is fantastic -smooth, powerful and well delivered. I like the Spanish, though I would not wish to hear it all the time. You are a real winner go for it.

Ruth a great performence but to be honest will the public like you singing in Spainish and English every week, one week show us how good you can be without singing in spainish and let us see more of ur english vocals, but it was still a very passionate performence

Xfactor is my favourite entertainement program!I simply adore and respect Simon, he's got the know how, he speaks what goes on his mind and heart, the true!Sometimes his comments may seem a little hard, but so is life, but I think he cares a lot and he is passionate about is work. Everyone likes to be proud of an achievement, so why shouldn't he when he achieved some much in the music industry business! God Bless Simon! :-)

I like Ruth she has a good but not spectacular voice but there is something about her which makes you warm to her. I think the stylists have lot to answer for. I know she is in the over 25 catagory but how ageing was that dress. Lets make Ruth a bit more trendy! Or did they pick the plunging front to appeal to Simon Cowell?

I'm not saying she isn't talented, I'm merely pointing out that she is up against people with something more special. Hence- she is not the winner. Unless people who find her sexy vote because she has the "Sex Factor" as you put it. But that's not the X Factor, is it? Diana to win. No doubt. She stands out the most.

To colliedug, I think you've been affected by her in the same way Simon Cowell has lol. I think you're right in saying that Alexandra sounds like Whitney, and I'm not saying that Ruth is trying to BE anyone. I'm saying, the way she sings can be replicated by a lot of singers, so she is not distinctive. And yes, other singers are not in the competition, she is, but my point is, she does not have the X Factor in comparison to, say, Diana, who offers something completely unique and different.
