Shocking tactics by Simon and Louis to vote off one of the strongest ever contestants.. I thought they had more integrity they have lost all of my respect and my viewing as i will not be watching rest of the show...Laura should have been in the final... Louis did not even like Ruth called her Mariah scary..then kept her!! der!!! work that one out..

I agree that the petition won't necessarily change anything.....though it makes those of us who are incensed at the decision feel as though we're doing something!However, it might be worth petitioning to make sure that Austin is in the line up for the 2009 tour. ...for those who'd like to go. Having gone out pretty early he might not be included!

&; surely it tells you something when so many people feel the same way? That the wrong decision was made, that the deserving talent was booted in favour of sobstory, publicity & tactical selfishness? The petition has taken on a different purpose now. It's now more an indication for all who acknowledge the truth, appreciate Austins talent, hard work, determination & positive spirit.

ONCE AGAIN Geordiepower. Ppl have signed it bc: 1. So many couldnt get thru to Austins line, the ones that did were told their votes were cast for DIANA, LAURA(<3) & ALEX- WTF?! 2. Louis & Cheryls votes were CLEARLY only tactical :X Austin was the best male vocalist & performer to ever walk their stage - Rachel is irresponsible NOISE. 3. Simons RIDICULOUS behaviour. 4. Austin was a constant favourite in online polls, tipped as winner & showed 1/4 of his ability. The fact is he WAS robbed.

Mid-week and we are fast approaching Live Show 5. We have so far lost Bad Lashes, Girlband, Scott Bruton and most recently Austin Drage. Who do we think will survive this saturday's show, and any Mariah Carey classic's you'd love to hear? X

Of course he wont be back geordiepower, but its a show of how people are annoyed at how things went. Personally Ive never watched X factor ever before, Austin was the only exciting contestant there (and by the way, Im NOT a 14 year old girl!!)
