I had never voted before for anything on TV, but I voted for you. Now that you have gone the show has lost my interest. I did not see why you could not win, as you sang with meaning and to the audience. You are a most likeable personality, and dare I say most attractive. I admit that several times whist watching you I found tears rolling down my face; I sat motionless on the edge of my settee. Whatever you do, do not give up singing. Have a wonderful career xxx

In this week of anti bullying in schools I find it absolutely astounding that Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh are able to bully a contestant that they supported through to the live shows. Not only has this consistent bullying been going on week after week but in is shown as normality on live national TV. What kind of message does this give to the children watching – if it is alright for these two high profile bullies then it is alright in the playground right?????

I just wanted to say that I loved to hear Daniel sing, he even gave me goosebumps at times. I will miss him in the show. (and no Simon I am not over 60!) Dont Give Up on your dream x you gave alot of people alot of pleasure x thank you x

Ya know, Louis is getting on a bit. Wouldn't be surprised if selective hearing kickied in, when he saw that you had something he never would; a great personality =)

Daniel, i haven't posted any comments on here before but i just felt the need to say: you have been absolutely brilliant on the show, you sang really really well every week and really tugged at mine and many heart strings!! Admittedly, you may not have gone on to win the show but only because some of the other contestants are of an extremely high standard...it does not mean in the slightest that you were bad! You deserved your place and you have done yourself proud so hold your head high!

Daniel. Its appalling the way youve been treated by the media and the judges. The real meaning of musix seems to have been forgotten. It's supposed to have feeling and be fun. You are a star and i hope that you do well in the future. The judges should take a look at the way they are handling this programme . Good TV dosent mean insulting and bullying people. Hope you do well in the future xxx

I have to ask the question - Simon & Louis put Daniel through for this competition and as such they are his bosses - would it be exceptable for a boss to speak to an employee in the way that Daniel has been spoken to???? I DONT THINK SO - he has been very badly treated and in the real world would be able to take them to an Industrial tribunal for bullying at work - how much has this effected the anti feeling against him???
