o my god!! I dont agree with alex_to_lose!!Rihanna can not sing live.She can not be compared to Alex.Rihanna cant really sing she can only sing when her voice has been fixed.That is a silly thing to say!!!!

'Westafeald' America is where the big bucks are, and America's no1s are mainly songs by rnb acts, not quirky blonde singers who will soon fade as did Dido's popularity. & Diana isn't unique, no one is in the music industry these days, Diana is Dido, Cranberries sounding - everyone's done it before. As for the UK, we only have 1 big belter & the US has dozens, who've been around years & are still popular. Why can we only have 1, while we have dozens of quirky type Dianas in the UK charts?

Alex is one of the best contestants they have ever had in xfactor, its unfair to compare her with stars like Leona, shakira, Beyonce and all. Alex is just starting out and of course she will be as good as any of these stars in a year or two. One advantage she has over Leona is good choreograhy. Don't get me wrong, i am a fan of Leona, but i think she is never comfortable on camera. It looks to me that she is always afraid to let herself go.

I've said this esewhere but there is only going to be one winner and it was decided weeks ago. It all comes down to who will be the biggest money generator for MrC! Alex is obviously the best singer but is there room for another Leona?. The other contestants are either too young, too old hat or (dare I say this) too broad in the beam! That leaves the unique Diana. Who ever told Rod Stewart he could sing? I wouldn't cross the road to see the others but I'd cross the country to see Diana.

IM humble O i thought it was one of the better performances of the night also she opened the show which isnt easy and had alot of moving and dancing to do! notice who does the fast songs with lots of dancing and things goin on! yep!! Alexandra...shes AWESOME!!

excuse me 'alex_to _lose' but I think either your ears need testing. Alex sounds nothing like half the singers you have listed! However I do agree with you that Diana is off key quite a lot :) Alexandra has a fantastic voice, just because she can belt it out, does that mean she sounds like someone else? NO! She has her own sound, as does everyone else. Only similarity is style of music and I hate to say this but the big belters are the people that make it big and last for years!
