hold your head up high, there is no point going out the competition all sulky and sad, YOU GOT THIS FAR!! you should go out with pride and joy. Rachel you started just walking down the streets to go shopping and u being a stranger to everyone, now you will walk down the street and everyone will reconise you and say "hi are you rachel from the X factor??"" xx

Hooray shes fianlly gone! Simon was right to put it to public votes and it was fair!!!the public watch this show and the public vote, if you dont like whos gone out then you should have voted for them yourself thats why rachel has gone because she got the least votes, mabye if the people who are complaining that simon made the wrong decision did vote for rachel themselves maybe she wouldn't be gone, im very glad she is gone though, very annoying trying to be something she isn't! to "ali greig" - wait a minute! How can it be fair that Simon put to the vote and Rachel went home because of the public vote, but then you say it "wasn't" fair that John and Edward did go and she did. HELLO! If the public vote is fair then it's fair that J&E are there since the public voted them in. I don't like it but it's fair if you're going by the votes.

Simon was completely right to put it to the public vote. That poor boy couldn't even speak, let alone sing, so how was he supposed to make a fair judgement? Simon didn't even know that Rachel was going to be sent home, he just put it to public vote because it was fair, it wasn't fair that John and Edward did not go and she did.

Simon Cowell`s decision was against every rule he created earlier. "This is a singing competion. I`m deciding only on tonights performance " and all his fussing about the truely horribly singing John and Edward. Here he favours Lloyd, who always sings very poor , especially last night. This decision was wrong, deniing the fact that rachel was the far better singer and has driven the show to a " Micky Mouse Game " Simon looses the right to be seen as a trusty judge. He`s been moody and unfair

I'm not happy about Rachel leaving, on pure talent, she deserved to go to the final, in my opinion. But I think that deadlock is the fairest way to decide, because it is the public is the one who ultimately, determines the contestant’s fate. Unfortunately, we also have to remember that Rachel was in the bottom 2, three times, remember the rule “three strikes and your out”. We do have to ask ourselves, how many times should someone be saved? Also, is it pointless to keep saving someone, bearin

Two things...Simon said before that the final showdown between the bottom two was a sing-off and then chooses Lloyd over Rachael! He has lost all credibility and as much as I love the X factor it is just a homage to his ego. Rachael in my opinion was the best act of 2009.
