+1 -1

Remembered for her version of Walking on Sunshine in her audition, Gamu certainly knows how to make a song her own. Just wanting to give her mum something back - this final bootcamp performance means a lot to her. Will it be enough to persuade the judges to take her to the next round? Louis might have been swayed...

I was disappointed when Gamu didn't get through, and felt the judges had made a big mistake, and have posted elsewhere that Katie was lucky to get through having messed up in two earlier rounds. I now feel rather concerned that the combined effect of thousands of comments like the one I made, together with the vicious headlines in the press, are becoming indistinguishable from bullying of a perfectly nice girl who can actually sing who, like many others, is pursuing her dream.

Cheryll your so unfair!! it was your choice you was only advised by the production team, you should be kicked out for being an unfair judge, i hope katie gets booted out very soon!!X-Factor is going down after this one! your taking things too far you have just ruiened a beautiful amazing talented girls life! your a poor exscuse for a judge! Simon sort it out or loose viewers!!!

The "Gamu" toothpaste is out of the tube, too late to put it back. It is no good Simon asking the UK public to wait a year so Gamu can try again. If Simon does not sign her up "now" and get a record out, he will miss out on the next Susan Boyle or rather Billie Holiday!

Could Gamu raise sufficient capital via an online whipround to make an investment application for entry to UK? At £200K it would be less than £2 a head for all the people on Facebook who said "Gamu should have got through". She could sell shares in her first album. She would have to employ 2 UK people - perhaps a mini recording studio - her first release could be this song on Itunes. UK PLC needs the investment, and she shouldn't be blamed for her mum's benefit mistakes.

After reading the daily mail this morning, saying they are both to kick out of UK by the Immigration People, Gamu mother should go back and applied again to come back, BUT GAMU should stay in the UK, she has learned a lot about the English way of life,NOW she has a CHANCE to contribute to the UK, IF X,FACTOR can help her stay and complete the show and WIN it, she wont be on benefits, she be earning Money for the GOVERNMENT as well for her self, COME ON UK, SHE deserve the CHANCE

There are rumours going off that Gamu is not picked as Cheryl's wild card. Shame on you Cheryl, Gamu is the best!

Tuesday, 05 October 2010 9:24 PM

total disgrace. will not be watching this farce. Cheryl should be ashamed and Simon should remember who put him and Cheryl where they are. Messing with peoples lives - people who will go places rather than one hit wonders (not even that). Will not be tuning in This is the final straw!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday, 05 October 2010 1:00 PM

Cheryl, l totally agree what the other people has writen about your choice of the 3 in your group, 2 of them should not have been there, and GAMU was far better than those 2 who failed in front of THOUSANDS people watching X.FACTOR, l now will vote either the boys or the group, UNLESS GAMU IS BROUGHT BACK as a WILD CARD, SHAME on you CHERYL

Out of the blue it is now reported that axing Gamu was due to visa concerns and as such no matter to be decided by Cheryl. What a nice twist. Are we really to believe this? I can only agree with those comments expressing that the x-factor has become a farce for the sake of viewing rates.

Tuesday, 05 October 2010 12:17 PM

it's all about viewing figures.....each of the judges will have 4 finalists not 3... we all know that Gamu will be one of the lucky 4 that will (not suddently) make it through after some excuse that they "just can't let a good singer go".... getting bored with all this Simon.....do something about it and stop all this messing about and give us a x factor show that we will all enjoy....

Tuesday, 05 October 2010 12:12 PM

Simon do you think we are really all that daft.....having all these twist in our x factor is an insult to all x factor fans....why did'nt Cheryl put through Gamu and maybe not put through Cher....it might have been more easy to believe....all this has done is make the decision makers (no doubt Simon) at x factor look really, really silly and stupid and all fans are insulted.....you'll lose many, many fans this way and Cheryl why did'nt you put your feet down when it was suggested about Gamu.....

Very, very disappointed in Cheryl's outrageous and clearly biased decision. Gamu should not have been kicked off and Katie should NOT be allowed to compete based on the rules. As for her citizenship status what a load of twaddle from the production team. Her whole family has the right to continue to live, work etc while their visa is renewed and what a load of tosh that she doesn't have a valid passport - she will have & the Home Office WOULD return it. Been there, done that I should know!

Tuesday, 05 October 2010 11:29 AM

Cheryl Cole its not competition between you judges. You dont have to win another year but you could picking GAMU.
Katie Waissel you should live X Factor ,people gonna vote you off in first week - i hope.Girl you can't sing.

Tuesday, 05 October 2010 11:26 AM

This show is a joke! Cheryl, are you out of your mind??? Choosing hoarse Cher and messed up Katie over Gamu and Keri??? This is not a charity show!

I feel sorry for the others who got voted off by someone who doesn't seem to know ANYTHING about what the show is supposed to be about.

You just picked the weakest contestants (except for Rebecca, thank God!)

Tuesday, 05 October 2010 11:24 AM

Cheryl wake up!! Gamu IS A STAR! .... WHAT A TRAVESTY!!!!!!

Tuesday, 05 October 2010 11:03 AM

What is the point having judges on Xfactor if they are being told who NOT to put through. Production team should not underestimate public anger.
As a result, Cheryl Cole is no longer the nations darling.
Message to Cheryl.. Leave XFactor now before it ruins your own career as a pop singer.

Monday, 04 October 2010 1:33 PM

I think after Cheryl's choice in finalists this year, I do hope another judges team wins.

Monday, 04 October 2010 1:25 PM

I think the judge in question overlooked a potential winner. Tells me the show is not based on talent but on capacity to create controversy and generate income. Not happy !

Monday, 04 October 2010 1:16 PM

Did Cheryl find time to watch this performance? I suspect she did, but she just doesn't "get" Gamu. "I just don't get it" has been the swansong of a number of very talented singers who have come before Cheryl but don't fit into her rather narrow concept of music. Fair enough to give another chance to Cher, a marginally inferior version of herself, but to put through Katie, who repeatedly stuffs up her performances shows poor judgement. Only Louis seems to have integrity and judgement.

Gamu is really good , I hope she wins, (that's if she got thhro' judges houses)

Monday, 27 September 2010 10:31 PM

I think it is sad that we can't watch these videos on the official site for The X-Factor in the states. We have to wait until someone puts them up on You Tube. Doesn't really make any sense to me. :(

I love the x factor, and the first time i heard Gamu sing i sobbed, her voice is outstanding.Again last night her performance reduced me to tears, this girl could be world class, she has to be 2010 winner.Amazing!!!!!

Sunday, 26 September 2010 10:12 PM

I watched Gamu the first time and i thought she was superb.
I have just watched her the second time, and she has just totally blown me away.
I have only heard her twice, but i'd put her in Leona Lewis league.
To win the X Factor you need to be able to tick just about all of the boxes, and this girl ticks every one; she is in a different league, and i just hope that justice is done, and she comes out as the winner.
Louis reaction at the end tells you all you need to know - OUTSTANDING.

Sunday, 26 September 2010 10:08 PM

WOW, Gamu, thank you for that song, that was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Beautiful. I really hope you win the X/FACTOR.
