Cheryl made her biggest mistake in her life when she reject Gamu although she is the best singer in this compitition and accepting 2 othors who couldn`t even sing &has no vocal. I don`t know how can she b a judge and she can`t pick up who is good or who is bad. i think Cheryl shouldn`t b in this show bc she is bias and even Ceryl she can`t sing. she without Simon she is nothing, simon is z 1 who is giving her support.i won`t wach Xfactor any more&this Cheryl will pay z price by not putting Gamu

Cheryl made up her mind before listening to their voices. If the judge was Simon or Louis, Gamu would have been in the show. Really disappointed with Cheryl's decision.
She's adorable. She's a great singer and also a good girl. How can we get her back? wish Simon can help her.
Really look forward to listening to her song again. so impressed and emotional.

Would it be too much trouble for the producers to get the morons in the crowd to stop screaming, shouting and whistling when the judges are trying to talk? I thought the idea was for the judges to give their views. Can we HEAR them please???

If Cheryl wakes up after her infamous decision yesterday and discovers that she did make a mistake by throwing out her supposedly best act (Gamu), I think she is gonna be kicking herself. What a shame! Gamu remains the winner of x-factor 2010 regardless of her being thrown out by a mentor that fails to appreciate and acknowledge pure talent. Go Gamu.....you are the best.

Bring back Gamu!

Like so many other viewers, my entire family was utterly horrified by Cheryl Cole's ludicrous decision last night to exclude the magnificent refreshing talent Gamu Nenghu, and put through the 'fashionably quirky' but uni-dimensional pair, Katie and Cher. This was an outrage, flying in the face of justice or merit, and we can only hope and pray that a 'wild card' will be issued to Gamu - mainly to reward her amazing talent and appeal, and also to attempt to save Ms Cole's face

I can't believe Gamu didn't get through. She is without a doubt the best singer and most likeable person on the show.
Gamu if you ever see this, YOU ARE THE BEST SINGER on the show and don't let Cheryl, or anybody else, tell you differently.God will fight for you and will restore what has been stolen with interest. I look forward to your album as I will be waiting 1st in line to buy multiple copies of it!!!!
Believe in your God and your talent!!!

Not the biggest fan of the X factor, but watching the calamity and blatant favouritism on that show last night was a disgrace. Putting through two girls who have no X-factor whatsoever, who couldn't get the words right let alone sing was a joke. Gamu Nhengu was brilliant from day 1. Cheryl Cole should not be a judge, she has made a mockery of every good audition on that show. How unfair and ridiculous this show actually is. Watched it for talent, not a twit judge and 2 bigger ones she put in.

We also shouted and switched the TV when Cheryl said Gamu was not good enough to go through, especially when she picked Katie. She must still be poorly.

If there is any justice in this world, someone please sign this fantastic young lady up and make her the star she already is.

Oh well, no more X-factor for me then! My husband agrees. To put through Katie and Cher, and send Gamu home was confirmation that the show is rigged. What a complete farce. Did Cheryl take instructions from Simon Cowell on who she should pick so that none of the girls would win? Gamu was far and away the best of all the girls. I will never watch the x-factor again.

Gamu made Louis cry not because he felt sorry for her but because she was fantastic.Cheryl cant spot an obvious talent or she is just clever. She knows Gamu was going to sell more albums than herself so she got rid of her.If i was Gamu i wouldn't come back to x-factor even on a wild card, she has made a name for herself she just needs to record an album and she will be a multi millonaire.I am done watching x-factor for good!!!

Monday, 04 October 2010 2:15 PM

Two ways to look at this Cheryl - either way you lose.
If you genuinely did not think Gamu was not good enough for your final three then you did not ought to be a judge on any talent show. OR if you was bullied into this decision by a higher authority just to hype the ratings then you compromised your integrity and that cannot ever be repaired - resign from the show. Its become a media circus - the only believable judge is Danni.

chezza needs to get a grip, really liked her too, not so much now, how can she put through a drama queen [chezzas words] who never once finished a song or sang without forgeting the words, only thing she good at is crying,, give her an oscar, bring back gnmu or raquel,,

Oh my, I always had a soft spot for Cheryl but seriously what was she thinking. I think that bout of malaria has affected her judging skills. She let 2 fantastic singers go and took on 2 mediocore ones. I think it is disgraceful and an online petition should be set up to get them back.

I kn this will happen. Cherly kn what she was doing. I think because of her ex hubby isssue, she is fustrated and putting it on other ppl. people who couldn't even sing was gone thru. WHAT. MMMM but her pay will come very soon.

I live in the Western US and made it a point to navigate my way to this forum to express my sincere disappointment if it is true that Gamu did not make it into the X-factor finals. She captivated everyone in our family and I sincerely hope she finds another forum for her incredible talent, since the X-factor judges, for some hard-to-fathom reason saw fit to bypass it. Speechless in Seattle.......

What is the point of going to the judges homes to do the 'most important' audition when its not even taken into consideration?and if Cheryl can't help young talents like Gamu or Tracy then maybe get a more experienced judge who can like Madonna or Cher or Celine Dion, or...Sharon Osbourne!I think its good to have a mix of cultures(Nigerian,Italian,English etc etc)and influences in the competition,it makes it more interesting rather than girls that remind Cheryl Cole of her when she was young.

allanfort486

Monday, 04 October 2010 11:41 AM

The only decent thing for the producers to do is reinstate Gamu as an original finalist and appoligise for this Big Mistake.

Any wild card should have been given to Cher due to her illness.

If Gamu is included as a wildcard finalist this is better than nothing however I believe she should go through on merit as she is clearly a Star.

Keep your chin up Gamu we will not let them get away with this disgrace.

Gamu out! I can't believe it. She was by far the best of the lot. Let's see the judges do something to make sure her talent is not lost. Gamu, at the very least, come back next year and prove to Cheryl Cole that she was very wrong. Good luck, Gamu! Scotland is behind you all the way!

Cheryl has been very bias with Gamu? Lately the media has given to her too much attention. This has gone to her head. She made her choice based on the bookies opinion and other critaria. Gamu was the best in her group.

The girl with the flower in her hair - she was great.
I am very disappointed in the acts that got put through to the finals - there are not many left in that i care about.
I Hope Gamu releases a Christmas single - i for one would buy it.

I would like to take this opportunity to say that I have heard Gamu sing in person and I find her voice amazing. You are a very talented girl and from your home town we are all routing for you and have our full backing. Hope you win the x-factor as you totally deserve to win it.

I love all the old Motown songs like Smokey Robinson etc and Gamu sort of reminds me of that era but with a real current twist to songs. Maybe she has just coined a new genre of 'Modern Motown' or 'Modtown' for short. I personally would actually pay for her song right now if she was to record it. Looking forward to hearing more from you Gamu and I wish you and your family the best of luck for this contest and the future.
