Our magnificent judges had to hand over the reigns to the voting public tonight, and each of the fab four felt differently about it. While Tulisa admitted to being “nervous”, Gary said he felt “confident”. Little did he know…
Our finalists chose the feelgood tune of the summer for their first ever group performance – Martin Solveig’s Hello. Ay-May-Zing!
OMG! We could go on, like, forever about how much we fancy The Wanted, so let’s talk about their performance instead. Rocking the house with their new single Lightning, the five fitties sooo delivered, don’t cha think?
The absolute legend that is Katy Perry graced The X Factor stage tonight and wowed us with a soulful rendition of smoochie song The One That Got Away.
Our twelve Finalists really felt the tension as Dermot read out the ten acts that went through to next week’s show by public vote. Amongst the lucky ten acts were Johnny, Rhythmix, Marcus, Kitty and The Risk, leaving two acts on tenterhooks.
Aaawww… The first two acts in The X Factor sing-off, Tulisa’s Nu Vibe lads and Gary’s rock star Frankie Cocozza had to sing for survival.
Nu Vibe went for a surprising choice for their save me song: Cheryl Cole hit Promise This.
Indie boy Frankie showed his vulnerable side, singing Daniel Merriweather classic Red to save his skin.
The judges had the final say, and it was a close call. But while Tulisa and Gary stood up for their own acts, Kelly and Louis had to make a tricky decision and both voted off Nu Vibe.
Oooh... Our finalists will be saying Hello tonight with their first group performance, Martin Solveig styleee.
