It’s the cheeky chap in the cap and last year’s X Factor winner, Matt Cardle!
Having watched last night’s cliff-hanger of a show, Mr Cardle was keen to get in touch and give us his review of the TV-tastic proceedings.
Under discussion was why he still has a thing for K-Row, what he really thought of the duets and why BFF Johnny Robinson is TV gold.
Pleased Little Mix won?
Yes, Little Mix are lovely and deserving of their win, but I’m absolutely gutted Marcus didn’t win – he’s the man! They’re all great but my dream win would’ve been Johnny Robinson. He’s so much fun to hang out with at the studios. The world needs more JR, sign him up people!
Did you enjoy the duets?
Blimey! Hello?! Did you see Tulisa’s duet with her Little Mixers? I was blown away – it was the standout performance. That girl’s got a fine set of lungs!
And what about Marcus’ duet?
I hate to say it coz I’m a massive Marcus fan, but he was too quiet in his duet. It was a shame as he's amazing vocally.
You’re a Coldplay fan, aren’t you?
Yes. Coldplay were just incredible. The flashing wristbands were a nice touch, truly magical. My dream collaborator would have to be Chris Martin.
Did you have a favourite judge?
Gary was the best judge – he made such good song choices and I felt he really understood Marcus and mentored him well.
What about K-Row?
Ah, Kelly’s outfits also impressed me. She is one hot mama. She should relocate to the UK!
And how will you be celebrating Christmas?
I’ll be preparing for my gig, writing more music and lazing about on the sofa. And no, I certainly won’t be cooking Christmas dinner. I can’t wait for the tour, it’ll be epic!
