A Million Love Songs revealed!

22 Nov 08

Time to Shine

It's Take That week on The X Factor and contestants must sing one of the much-loved songs which made 'Manchester's finest' famous.

We're not quite talking A Million Love Songs here (ahem) but we can look forward to six spendiferous pop songs, all sung by our new generation of musical stars. What's more, Kings of Pop Take That will be on had to sing their latest hit, Greatest Day, themselves!

The contenders have been practicing hard for this all-important test, and as well as singing in the shower and dancing in the dining room, everyone has had a one-to-one audience with Take That in the studio!

The contestants' pick o' the hits is....

Alexandra Burke       Relight My Fire

Rachel Hylton           Rule The World

JLS                           A Million Love Songs

Ruth Lorenzo           Love Ain't Here Anymore

Eoghan Quigg          Never Forget

Diana Vickers           Patience

Would you have chosen something different? Let us know below!

Yes, i noticed that Diana and Eoghan had alot of help from overly loud music and backing singers (the oldest trick in the book for professional singers) But this is supposed to be a show searching for an outstanding act, not an act who needs help covering up flaws in their performance.

Im sorry but diana and eoghan were rubbish their big notes were covered by the backing singers they cheated the public because they cant sing those songs they both should be gone not rachel or daniel they were much better than diana and eoghan i cant stand them.

Wow! Can't believe Rachel's out. Can't believe Rachel and JLS were in bottom two when mediocre Ruth is still in. Ah well, it's only a TV show!

HOW ON EARTH is Diana still here? Are people really that tone-deaf? How is she getting praise from the judges and all these celebrities? The only thing that makes her different is the fact that she can't sing. She wails. Her recording voice is awful too. I don't get it. Louis made the right decision. Rachel's voice sounds like a foghorn. Wish her all the best though.

I think JLS would have done Rule the World much better than Rachel did. I hope next week they tell Luis where to go and do their own thing. I think they were much better in their very first audition than they are now, and thats all Luis fault. They need to bring back that charm and impeccable vocals. (btw in my opinion they should try and sing the song they sang in their first audition... LOVED IT!)

i've never really been a big rachel fan, but her survival song was spectacular and she should not have gone.

I have to say that earlier I said Rachel needed some vocal coaching and having heard her in the sing off, I believe she has had them. The vote off is suppossed to be based on the best singer/s in the sing off and Rachel blew JLS out of the water. Yes she has been in the bottom 2 3 times now, but I think its more to do with the public not warming too her. Hats off to her she pulled it out of the bad tonight and JLS should have gone home, Simon you called it wrong tonight...
